The admissions for getting into medical school is based solely on their entrance exams scores. After exams, some students are called in for an interview or a personality test. After this whole process, students are into medical school, the ones who are chosen, and can begin their undergrad courses.

Some courses include organic chemistry, biology, and physics with lab courses, and English and Calculus. These are general courses which of course vary from medical school to medical school. The MCAT is also apart of the medical admission process. The MCAT has changed the sections of the test as of 2015 which consist of biological and biochemical foundations of living systems, chemical and physical foundations of biological systems, psychological, social and biological foundations of behavior and critical analysis and reasoning skills. A resume is also sometimes included which should include certificates, and research.

Medical school in the United States is four years, and includes residency. The first year of medical school consists of students sitting in lectures, and taking notes being tested on their memorization. The second year is clinical based where students learn about diseases and infections that are seen frequently. The third year is when students begin their clinical rotations, which is when they are put into teams and graded based on performance. The fourth year of medical school is when students specialize to further pursue their career.
